Information we collect from you when you make an enquiry:

When you complete our enquiry form on our website ( we will collect:

  • your name
  • email address
  • phone number
  • the number of people in your group and the ages of any children U18.

This information will be used to respond to your enquiry and not passed onto a third party or used in any other way.

Information we collect from you when you make a booking:

Whether you make a booking via email or over the phone, we will collect and process some or all the following data about you:

  • Full name, email address and mobile phone number of the person making the booking.
  • First names of all participants, ages of any children (under 18 years), sizing information of all participants
  • We will also keep records of payments made by you to us, although as we only accept payment by BACS specific details relating to your account / payment card used will not be collected.

Information we collect when you take part in an activity:

You will complete a “Risk Acknowledgement, Consent & Medical Declaration” form for each activity you do with us. This asks for the name and existing medical conditions / allergies that we need to be aware of for each participant. It also asks for an emergency contact name and contact number for each participant.

This information will be used by us and kept in a locked store for up to two years. This information will only be shared between our staff on the day and not with a third party (unless required for legal reasons).

If there is an accident or incident during the activity you will be asked to complete a form which describes what happened and any actions taken by the instructor involved. This will be used to improve our safety procedures and will not be shared with a third party (unless required for legal reasons).

What we do with the information we gather:

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a good service, in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping and management of your booking
  • We use your sizing information to ensure we bring the correct safety kit to the venue.
  • We use the information about your health and other conditions to attend to your safety whilst you are participating in an activity with us.
  • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
  • If you have given consent, we may use images from your activities in our marketing on social media, the website or the postcards we use to advertise Saltwater Safari at a select number of businesses.


We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
